Mate, he/her needs to change more than a foot to make that place inviting/welcoming!

An interesting development, wonder what happened to the last one?
Anyway thought I'd have a browse round the MAF website. Other than thinking it needed tarting up a bit I then came across the following statement:
Now both Mr Wikipedia and me think that the Cobra has only ever been flown by the Army and Marine Corps. Unless someone can tell me otherwise this seems like a pretty awful mistake for the Museum of Army Flying to make?Enjoy the site? Received support from us? I refer Bad CO to post #27 of this thread. MOAF have form for not giving a fuck.
Now, if MOAF had made a diorama showing 3AAC Battle Group Refuelling and rearming USMC Super Cobras during Telic, that would have had some relevance......

I've just had a look at that post - pretty impressively bad PR. One thing to consider though is that it might not actually have been an authorised representative who posted it. The email address of that user is @yahoo.co.uk so I smell sockpuppet.

I went there in November 2009, having just finished a course at nearby Winterbourne Gunner; I was somewhat non-plussed to be charged £5 admission depsite being in uniform and equipped with my MoD90. 'But you're not Air Corps Dearie. You're Signals so you have to pay.' Perhaps the Corps should reciprocate at Blandford. I then spent a desultory hour looking something that reminded me of the Terminal One at Heathrow i.e. tired and rundown. The shop was no better. Would I go back? No, never. The only plus point was that it delayed going home to face Mrs H_M 1st for a couple of hours.
