Well it's obviously the Falklands; they carried a lot of fuel so I guess the outer drop-tanks have been jettisoned.

One of the four reinforcements to Stanley from Ascension - hence the ferry fit.

If they should once obtain a connivance, they will press for a toleration, from thence to an equality, from an equality to a superiority, from a superiority to an extirpation of all contrary religions. John Pym 1584-1643.

I reserve the right to say what the fcuk I like. The serried ranks of headstones in Flanders, Normandy and elsewhere give me that right.

Good idea, but this one and two mates didn't go to the Falklands. Why the live missile fit ?

I assumed that any aircraft flying into a combat zone would carry live missiles. Did it go U/S before departure?

That's it. The three Harriers provided air defence until 29 Squadron's Phantom FGR.2s were deployed.

You would have thought it would have been easier to deploy a couple of Tombs in the first place rather than lash up some interim GR3s with 9Ls. There's me using logic again.

What a great name for a big, heavy, alleged fighter!
