Hi all,

It was slightly different for me. I sent the application back then that was sent to the trade assessors. That came back with a pass fairly quick but I do know people that have waited up to 3 months for the trade assessment to come back. I then had to wait for my trade to be officially added to the labor agreement before I received the enlistment package. I sent this back after compiling all the paper work required and then that was assessed over a 2 week period. I got the thumbs up from that stage this morning. I am now awaiting the outcome of the paper board which i believe is putting all the paper work together and sort of like a mini promotion board. If you still meet the criteria and they have a vacancy then you will likely go to interviews.

Quick question, who do we speak too to get the criminal records check done?? and as I lived in Germany for a few years how do I get one from there?? if I need one??

Hello mate,For the UK ones go to this website all is explained, costs £35 for standard service.http://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspxI'm in Germany aswell and havn't done mine yet but they can get done in your local Citizan Office/ Registry office type of place. Best person to ask will be a German friend. Billy

Hi Day1, mine took a while as well. I got a bulk email through last week. If you PM me your email adress I will go through the recipients for you and see if it was sent to you as there is every chance it may have been bounced back to sender.

Hi all,

I notice a few on here talking about the police checks. Does anyone know where to get the Belgian ones done as I was based @ SHAPE about 8 years ago for 2 years.
