    Hi Tallulahj

As long as you have your date thats the main thing. What trade is your hubby? Is he transferring as a Ground trade or Aircrew?

Either way, all the best to you both.

    It works too.

My missus did non-knickered cartwheels up and down the room during those really searching questions....... somehow we ended up talking about kebabs.

Best of luck to everyone who has up and coming interviews btw - hope to see the lot of you over here soon.
    lol ejits! :P

The crossed legs scene from "Fatal Attraction" springs to mind. I will pack a mini skirt just in case, as I think Mrs GH wont be happy with that!

Re: Transferring to the Australian Army

I have been reading the posts relating to lateral transfer as I'm just about to send off my application. I wish I'd have heard about the whole ARRSE thing before now as I feel as though I've really missed out!!! I have read from the email stuff I have been sent that the time from application to entry is 18 months (approx), the question I need to ask is this....

Are all the interviews around the end of July/August time?

If I send my app off now making myself available for employment in Feb 2011, then I would be interviwed (subject to selection) next Jul/Aug meaning the gamble of having to give my 1 years notice to terminate in the British Army in Feb 2010......., 5 months before I would be due to be interviwed in Jul/Aug!!!!

Has anyone else come across this problem? It's causing me more sleepless nights than the long winded qualification/comparison matrix!!!! Please can somebody put my mind at rest????
