Some third-wave feminists prefer not to call themselves feminists, as the word feminist can be misinterpreted as insensitive to the fluid notion of gender and the potential oppressions inherent in all gender roles, or perhaps misconstrued as exclusive or elitist by critics. Others have kept and redefined the term to include these ideas. Third-wave feminism seeks to challenge any universal definition of femininity.

Friend of mine joined the Royal Signals, after a few years left and joined the Marines, re did basic training (including a wee stint at Colly for dropping a DL who he disagreed with) Few years later went to OZ, joined their Army and ended up in the OZ SAS.

His brother was in the RM as well. I think they may have had duel Nationality but he sure had wandering feet and a liking for training courses..

    Yes.
The above is a temporary digression while I ride one of my hobby horses, a rant by me a soldier, failed lothario and inmate of a proudly independent country, founded by thieves and whores. The gratuitous opinions and comments contained above are more scatological than ideological. Scientific tests conducted by "The Ponds Institute" have determined that I have a very tenuous grasp on reality. You are reading the thoughts one of the biggest wanker currently walking around on four, oops, two legs. I have an ill-informed opinion on pretty much everything. In conclusion there is no truth to the rumour that I am a Philanthropist, Sesquipedalian, World Traveller, and Bon Vivant. Although, I may or may not of been associated with Left and Right Wing authors & lecturers, travellers & bums, wars fought, revolutions started, assassinations plotted, uprisings quelled, governments run, subversion's organised, Communists terrorised, bars emptied, bars filled, Virgins converted, Tigers tamed, Crocodiles castrated, and students tortured.

British lateral transferees to the Australian Army would be able to apply for Commando selection after SFET if the vacancy exists and if accepted (it is a young mans game as previously stated),but surely that is something a transferee would have sorted before taking the step ?
As stated by Bushmills there are blokes on long look with CDO units and British expats have served and are still serving in 1 CDO.(reserve)

For info oi blud, Australian CDO selection is not the same as AACC see below

It takes a room full of Americans for Australian and British gentlemen to realise how similar they are
