I have a health request ID but the medical clinic can't seem to be able to do anything with it. They keep asking for a TRN or HAP number.

Can anyone tell me the rough time scale of having a medical to getting their visa approved?
DIAC have received my visa paperwork and given the go ahead for a medical, which I'm having tomorrow.

Chillipep,
We had our family medical on 31 May 12 at the West End branch of the Knightsbridge practice and received our VISA today. This was despite a minor hiccup with the resulkts of the medical that required some kind of adjudication by an Australian panel of doctors and the extended jubilee bank holiday that slowed the practice's processing of the medical itself. So three weeks in total. We received the acknowledgement of our visa app from DIAC of 17 May 12 if tat adds greater context. Good Luck.

Chillipep,
We were almost the same as cabbage and campermum yet the last part of the process is when a case officer goes over your file and gives you the final yes or no. I called diac to be told it went to my case officer on the 23rd of this month and yesterday we received full confirmation.

Had our medical on the 28th and it all appeared to go well. Just need to wait for our final approval now. Handed in my notice through Glasgow for an early release in August so I might be on for a fast ball or looking for another job! in Civvy Street!
Lets hope my VISA gets granted

Been there, the wait is awful yet sure you will be ok. Give it two weeks and it will arrive.
Anyone who has already got their visa heard anything from DOCM? Sent my confirmation to them, to which I was told, congratulations, we are busy preparing for this years interviews and they will be in touch.... Waiting again!

I looked at it a few years ago as a full screw CS OP in the Signals and was told I had to be a Sgt, now it looks like it is all changing again. In any case I now live in Australia and once I become a citizen then I am looking to join up again. Not sure what they are going to offer me in regards of rank etc.
