VISA LABELS. (cont.. As the last post did not work)
Visa Evidencing (visa label)
Australia's modern electronic visa system does not require you to have a visa label placed in your passport to confirm your immigration status and entitlements in Australia.
When you check-in to fly to Australia, airline staff will use your passport to electronically confirm that you have authority to travel to Australia prior to boarding the aircraft.

Hope this helps?

Panzer Commander:
What address did you send your passports to for a visa label and also what number did you call to confirm this?
Cheers

I'm out in Germany so Berlin was our nearest embassy. when I spoke to the uk embassy they told me yes there electronic system does register this but it depends on what is stated on your visa. Our visa reply sated that it needed to be evidenced so I was told to post our passports to the nearest embassy. Address is supplied on the website when you search evidencing. Our visas came back stamped with all the details of the visa. Proving our eligibility. This has to be done prior to signing on. The Aussie embasy in London states this. I hope this helps if you need further info just let us know.

Well...... Still not much further on from last time. I spoke to my case officer on the phone and he said I should of had the Health ID issued earlier and he would request it for me. That day (03rd June) he emailed me to say he had requested it but still no sign of it.
I just feel like I'm pestering him when I email now! I'll give it a few more days and make a call to the Main Enquiries Office instead

Finally, got my health number and can now progress with the medical. I'm just gutted i'm going to miss the course start in August.
It turns out the attachment for Health List was missed from my Acknowledgement and when I called my case officer he sent me an email saying HAP requested in the subject but nothing in the main body. Having spoken to him last night, he forgot to attach the health list too!
Back on track now, medicals booked for the 28th.

I've received my letter of acknowledgement from diac that they have got my visa paperwork and I've been told I can go ahead with the medicals from approved doctors. When I spoke to a clinic they required a trn or hap number.
I can't find any such number on the paperwork I've been sent and I'd really like to get this medical sorted. I enquired with diac and they just resent the hap letter that had no relevant number on.
Can anyone shed any light?

We were sent a health request ID number for each family member and that can be found on the health list. Best to check from a pc too as the iPhone sometimes doesn't show all attachments
