Re-read E-Layers' posts. Its not uncommon for Warrant Officers to be offered Cpl posts.
If you want it badly enough and all that.

PG you know they have delayed the next round of redundancies until at least April next year now awaiting the publication of LFs plan for the future structure of the Army

Once again E-Layer you have helped loads. Just as a thought, whats the max length of service I will be able to stay in? I plan to stay in the forces for as long as I possibly can. Even if it looks like I am a day older than grass! If all goes well, whats the max length of time I am likely to be able to stay in? 10,15 years from when I sign up?

No you don't mate, she hated it and pulled the pin. However, I'm also an ex-staffy (RSIGS), and I'll be graduating in 16 days time, so the opportunity exists, at pretty much any age (43 in 3 weeks time!)

Well thanks again E-Layer and to you Biscuits. Got a lot to think about i know!

If they offer me a Sgt post, I will move tomorrow, even if I don't have a full 22 pension. Have my interview in London next week, so fingers crossed.

Anyone know if they provisionally offer any vacant jobs at the interviews, or do you have to wait for the letter?
