    Some research help please

    Hi

I discovered your fine forum whilst writing my undergraduate dissertation and used arrsepedia for some not academic definitions and an insight into the culture of the British Army. Can I just say thanks for creating this resource.

Anyway the time has come for volume two, my post graduate dissertation and I was wondering if some of you could help me?

Both dissertations are about the SAS in the First Gulf. The first on the 'memoirs' of MacNab et. al. essentially an academic critique of his 'Creative' approach to the facts. The second is going to be on the legal implications of the publications; Gagging Orders, Soldier Five, MoD attitudes and inconsistencies.

SO long winded introduction out of the way...

If anyone has any experience of Gagging Orders or getting memoirs approved by the MoD? Then I'd really like to hear from you.

Also if you have any knowledge of how memoirs work in the US then that would also help.

    Cheers

    Matt
