Husky's are the most clever and cunning Dogs. My Zero will be 13 on 10th of March. He's ancient but still alright for a good run. It seems my pics are too big to post and I don't know how to make them smaller.

I have ACDSee on my computer. Dead simple (and it needs to be!). Open the photo, click on editor and that takes you to ACD PhotoCanvas. Then just select 'Resize' and you can resize by percentage (easiest) or pixel dimensions until the pic is the right size to post.

If your thinking about getting a dog but not sure what breed, this is an excellent web site and even rates breed for suitability with children:
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/index.htm
You can get information including description (essential info for pure breeds), temperament, health problems, life expectancy, grooming, etc, etc.
As an example (and because I love staffies) here's the description:
Not an untrue wordThe Staffordshire Bull Terrier does everything full throttle: play, work and love. It is extremely courageous and obedient, affectionate with a sense of humor. One owner of this breed says "Staffordshire Bull Terriers are very people friendly. They are not particularly wary of strangers in almost all circumstances - although I've heard a few anecdotes about some being wary of particular people. My dogs are always happy to meet new people!" The breeds reputation with children is second to none. Adored and adoring within its own family circle. It is usually good with other pets in the household, but may be combative with dogs outside the family, especially dogs of his breed or related breeds. They are intelligent and stubborn at times but this is the appeal of this 'human' in doggy fur! The Staffordshire needs firm and consistent training. They are persistent and active. As a puppy they tend to chew a great deal so make sure you provide them with plenty of chew toys. Their powerful jaws will tear though vinyl toys to get to the squeaker in no time. This can be dangerous if the dog swallows the plastic. Be sure to only give your Staffie strong toys. Do not allow it to be off its leash unless it is safe to do so. They can be trained for agility and competitive obedience. The breed competes in agility and obedience in the UK at the highest level. Staffies love a challenge and variety. Owners need to protect these dogs from injuring themselves. Totally fearless and curious, they're liable to jump off of a deck or walk through broken glass. These dogs are not recommended for most families because they need firm, experienced handling and training. They can be difficult to housebreak.

Re: ARRSE Kennel Club - A Dog Owners Thread
Mine is a 14 year old English Springer Spaniel. Springers remain puppies at heart till an advanced age. Mine has high blood pressure and arthritis and takes more pills than I do but she still enjoys life. Now down to one eye (tooth abcess became eye abcess overnight, you would not believe what vet's eye surgery costs!)
Note: Piccy taken 3 months ago, before eye loss.
Inside the house she wanders around on wobbly legs but outside in the snow today she was bouncing around in the snow and rolling in the snow like a young pup.
By the way, my son named her Elizabeth as she is an English Springer and he wanted the most English name possible and named her for HM. Unlikely HM would find out but I hope she has a sense of humour if she does.
She also eats paper. Toilet rolls in this house have to be kept up high. She has eaten 3 paperback Gaelic grammers. A couple of years ago when she was more agile she got to $65 left on the counter for the cleaning lady and left only tiny green shreds. Expensive tastes! She loves cats and seems to regard ours as her pets or her puppies. The current cats sleeps up against her.
