    Ah yes the noble Scott!

The parent's got a boy and girl.

Clyde went at 4 years old. Cancer. Very rapid decline for the poor chap. From being a bit off the wait by the Rainbow Bridge only took 3 weeks.

Bonnie lasted til she was 10. And a wonderful girl she was too. So laid back and every cat in the neighbourhood was her 'friend'.

Their latest one is a rescue. He was an absolute terror when they got him. Uber aggressive and skin and bone left alone. Apparently he had never ever been taken on a walk, just in and out of a very small garden.

Now, after three years with love, affection and tellings off when requred he is a different dog.

Best thing about them (that makes me laugh anyway) is the amount of people who have approached the parents and said how cute it was to see a black Westie. FFS!!!!

More than likely just a fatty lump, but the vet can check it out in a matter of minutes!

"A democracy cannot survive as a permanent form of government. It can last only until its citizens discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." If you can feel it on the skin it is probably a fatty cyst. No drama. My ESS's all had them but I would ask the vet to check just to be sure. My vet always felt them and said no drama.

I echo what C.D and the others have said. My idiot has a lump on her r/l thigh, about the size of a golf ball and has had it for over eight years. Vet checked it and as it wasn't giving any pain or other issues, just said it's fine and left it alone!

My girl Piper is the poster Scottie for laid back, well except when she isn't, ie the treats box is opened, or agility is on the program. I get the black Westie remarks on occasion too, that and, "Is that a dwarf Schnautzer?"
