When he is caught I hope it's an owner who makes him eat the stuff.
Does he expect cats and birds of prey to read?

We strongly suspect that we have a poisoner in one of the houses on the edge of our estate. So far in the immediate vicinity we have had to deal with a dead dear, several dead foxes and umpteen rabbits and squirrels in the one small area. We have had a quiet word with a local Bobby who is sympathetic and has, in turn, done what he can. However we're not prepared to pay for animal post mortem examinations and they're not breaking any laws but I feel uneasy living near someone who is quite happy to indiscriminately kill wild creatures.

I took the dog to La Boisselle last week. He didn't like the fact everyone was allowed to dig bar him.

He is a great dog. Except when he goes on a killing spree in the host's hen house.

I firmly believe in capital punishment for such despicable and cowardly cruelty.

Took Max the greyhound back to the vet this morning. After the emergency of last week things have calmed down a bit. Max had to go back on saturday to have the Haematoma drained again, but he seems to be back to his old self and is eating well again.

However this morning we saw the vet chappie who did the op last week. After a good look at Max's neck and inside his mouth, and after being told that Max has been chasing bunnies and squirrels when out for his walks, he has signed Max off as fit. The lump on his neck is still there but is stable and will reduce over time. It is the result of internal tissue damage and may not disappear completely but, as the vet said, Max probably thinks he's better so it is time to let him get on with it!

Just need to sort out the insurance claim now...

In the career of glory one gains many things; the gout and medals, a pension and rheumatism....all of these fatigues experienced in your youth, you pay for when you grow old. Because one has suffered in years gone by, it is necessary to suffer more, which does not seem exactly fair.

An earlier dog of my partner, was poisoned by some bastard and it died in her arms at the vets! I would very, very happily do the same to anyone I found out to be doing something like this!
The harder the fighting and the longer the war, the more the infantry and in fact all the arms, lean on the Gunners - Field Marshal Montgomery.

I would happily spend the rest of my life visiting 'Eye for Eye' justice upon the filth that cause suffering and death to animals for their own twisted amusement.
I didn't say it was your fucking fault, I said I was blaming you.

I'm only responsible for what I say...not what you understand.
