Does he expect cats and birds of prey to read?
We strongly suspect that we have a poisoner in one of the houses on the edge of our estate. So far in the immediate vicinity we have had to deal with a dead dear, several dead foxes and umpteen rabbits and squirrels in the one small area. We have had a quiet word with a local Bobby who is sympathetic and has, in turn, done what he can. However we're not prepared to pay for animal post mortem examinations and they're not breaking any laws but I feel uneasy living near someone who is quite happy to indiscriminately kill wild creatures.Xylitol kills dogs, remember Eddie - http://www.facebook.com/The.Eddy.Project

I took the dog to La Boisselle last week. He didn't like the fact everyone was allowed to dig bar him.
And ready for take off....

From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." Took Max the greyhound back to the vet this morning. After the emergency of last week things have calmed down a bit. Max had to go back on saturday to have the Haematoma drained again, but he seems to be back to his old self and is eating well again.
However this morning we saw the vet chappie who did the op last week. After a good look at Max's neck and inside his mouth, and after being told that Max has been chasing bunnies and squirrels when out for his walks, he has signed Max off as fit. The lump on his neck is still there but is stable and will reduce over time. It is the result of internal tissue damage and may not disappear completely but, as the vet said, Max probably thinks he's better so it is time to let him get on with it!
Just need to sort out the insurance claim now...

Rodney2qIn the career of glory one gains many things; the gout and medals, a pension and rheumatism....all of these fatigues experienced in your youth, you pay for when you grow old. Because one has suffered in years gone by, it is necessary to suffer more, which does not seem exactly fair.

I'm only responsible for what I say...not what you understand.
