Sorry to hear that Aul Wan, a good dog is never with us long enough.

Very sorry for your loss Aul Wan. Hope the happy memories of her help to ease the heartache a little.

I'm sorry to hear that awful news. I'm sure you've got some fantastic memories though, so keep them alive.

Sorry to hear this! Sadly, they all leave us too early. At the very least, as AeT said, you have the fantastic memories!

The vets were brilliant - told us that her chances of surviving an operation were slim to nil. We asked could we bring her home for a short while. They had her line in with pain medication - dropped her over to us and then called a few hours later to put her to sleep. Then took her away to be cremated.
We were lucky to have her for nearly 13 years and she had a great life except for the last 48 hours. Everybody who met her remarked on what a great personality she had - even non-doggie people - she was almost human.
The house seems empty without her and the OH is slowly coming to terms with it.

My two belgian shepherds.....ones a Tervuren and the other a Groenendael.....I'm sat at the comp....they sit there every night at 7 ....for their piece of chocolate...Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked: "What do you feel when you shoot a Terrorist?". The Marine shrugged and said: "A slight recoil"
