I'm after something medium sized that I can take on longish walk without looking queer as fuck that won't leave hairs everywhere...
Nothing wrong with a Standard Poodle if it isn't show clipped. Very intelligent animal and a very tough dog too,

Basically, any dog that doesn't shed, or shed much, needs to have their coat clipped or stripped on a regular basis..a vacuum cleaner and a car boot liner is cheaper.

Of course, there is the Labradoodle, but apparently they can be a bit mental.

Er, Staffies don't shed too much.
I didn't say it was your fucking fault, I said I was blaming you.

At the moment I have very little info... and she has not replied to any of my texts...Im begining to think she is finding it all too much trouble and will probably take it down the pub and give it away....there is only so much you can do to help some people....

I'd love a Dobermann, my parents used to breed them so I grew up with them; lovely intelligent athletic dogs that are nowhere near as fearsome as people think they are. But the missus isn't keen and I don't want her to end up intimidated by whatever we get as she won't enjoy owning a dog who thinks its higher up in the pack than she is...

We'll probably end up compromising on a Lab... i'd be happy with that.
You get years more life out of a carpet if it has a decent good layer of dog hair on it

My larger dog is a mutt with some doberman weighing in about 50lbs, moults very little, and is now confident (rescue/knocked about /now-man-tolerator, though still skinhead and chav loather), and loves the ladies!

(Unfortunately his taste in women is different from mine for he much prefers the larger lady; large enough for him to curl up on their lap, and I am frightened of ladies so big!)

My next door neighbor has a labradoodle and it is a really nice dog, a bit active as a pub but now calm and friendly, great with the kids in the neighborhood.
