From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up,
As true today as in 1320.

Ugly, whenever you read this, hope there were at least some customers at Highclere today - thought of you looking out at the rain and glad we went yesterday. Look forward to seeing the new website and purchasing when the hound arrives.

Yet again, Connie our bitch Staffie found something far worse than fox shit to roll in whilst out walking. Even the dog Staffie avoided her. Five shampoos later, all with added disinfectant and she is almost tolerable. We were taking it in turns to wash her, one washing and the other gagging..she loved it.
Different rout tomorrow for sure.Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
I didn't say it was your fucking fault, I said I was blaming you.
