ARRSE Curry Putney - the rematch
Proposal: A re-run of the 'Army Curry' night that I organised in Putney last year. The food will be cooked by ex-ACC chef using recipes from the 'Blue Book' as well as rice, sambals etc.
Where: The Bricklayer's Arms Putney (voted best Pub in Greater London 2007 by CAMRA).
Date: A Thursday in March (exact date tbc but it will be a Thursday)
Cost: Again tbc but last year it was a fiver a head.
Hope you can make it. I'll post more exact details when I have them.

Sounds good to me too. If it ends up not being to be a Thursday I would be grateful for an early confirmation on the date as I have to book weekend flights home a month or so in advance.

Re: ARRSE Curry Putney - the rematch
It will deffo be a Thursday due to popular demand and I have squared this away with the pub. The first Thursday of the month the pub have a regular event and the following Thursday I'm skiing. The third is out because I guess people will be thinning out early for the Easter break so that leaves the 27th. Pencil this into your diaries and I'll go firm on that date at the weekend.

I have pencilled this into my diary
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, camel blue in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOW!!! WHAT A RIDE !!!!!!!!!!!

Never been to an ARRSE event ... can I come? Will you take the pi$$?
:D
Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away. But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best.
I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself; I’m having that.
