On a serious note, the smaller hotels and guest houses will refuse 'parties' ie stag or hen and the owners tend to live on the premises and crack down hard on any sign of partying in the rooms, even to the point of ejecting people onto the street at 3 am! The RAMC once had a reunion at Norbreck but the venue didn't get rave reviews. It would probably be better to deal with a chain hotel as they tend to be a bit more anonymous, trouble is the only time I've ever been to Blackers is with the rugby club and we seemed to stay at a different place each time, probably because of life bans!

Norbeck is deffo your best best, its not that far off the center, you are after all steely eyed dealers of death and we invented taxis, buses and trams in the last millenium

I think the big issue is getting the bookings in, they cater for huge coach parties but the hotel is so big I think they tactically shut down wings for economic efficiency so get your bids in early

I know the place was pretty "quiet" when I was there, but when I looked at getting an extra night on a friday it was solid booked

There's a Premier Inn in Blackpool Central(just!) with a Brewers Fayre on site..£29
