Oi!! Built for stealth not speed. Can still out drink PRT (which to fair to him isn't difficult).

We trained hard - but it seemed every time we were beginning to form up into teams we were reorganised.
I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganising, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while actually producing confusion, inefficiency and demoralisation.

Yet again you have rung up duties and consulted my shift roster and picked a date when I cant go. Yes it is one of my rest days BUT it is the Christmas Party (Policeman's Ball?).

I hope it is freezing and a total cack night out. And you get nicked. And burgled.

    Regards

You can go, but you'd prefer to spend it with a bunch of uniform fetishists instead, a bit like your time in the RAF Regt really
