Hi, my name is Brian and I`m an alcoholic. Joined the Royal Signals in 75 and did basic training at 11 sig Ousten bks and then trade training at catterick with 8 sigs. 77 posted as rtg to 4 armd div hq and sig regt. 80-81 Ni with 14 Int coy and then on to 7 sig regt till 83 when I lost my sense of humour and got out. Worked 12 years as an ASA in Herford and then got made redundent and retrained as a nurse and work now in a geriatric hospital near Herford. I feel a lot better now having got that off my chest.

Only done 3 years a while ago but was young and knew every thing and once in i grew up and got to know a little for real.
Best 3 years of wake up call and working hard i ever had my old man pushed me in the right direction as all of our family went in for a stint done me the world of good and grew up in a hurry and best of all got some DAMN FINE MATES out of it.

Been a registered member for ages on here but never really been on. Going to Pirbright in a few week for to start Phase 1 then onto Royal Signals, can't wait.
