4 years in the Army (2008 to present) with the Royal Horse Guards/1st Dragoons. Although I'll be out soon and doing something completely different.
Grace, space, pace.
- 21-05-2012, 18:00 #75I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

Royal Netherlands Army.
Started as infantry; made it up to sergeant; got a training injury and left.
Was Dutch TA for a while and got a tap on the shoulder that I could get back in! I'm now training to become our version of a QARANQ; it would be nice to have learned a trade if I ever have to leave again...
Watch out! Kim Jong Il is watching you!
If wars were won by feasting, or, victory by song,
or safety found in sleeping sound, how England would be strong!
But honour and dominion are not maintained so.
They're only got by sword and shot, and this the Dutchmen know!
