Agreed, though he needs a bit of luck in his life after enduring Rhyl!

That said I now work on the site that was his camp, even found his Jack Knife ( the one with the spike for horses hooves) when I dug a hole.

4 years in the Army (2008 to present) with the Royal Horse Guards/1st Dragoons. Although I'll be out soon and doing something completely different.

In my time True Blue were those who joined through Recruit Company, your lot were just known as fcuking brats. Plus everyone knows the backbone of the Corps was the TIS.
I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

You were at Southall then? I live in West Drayton.
I was a good runner in the mob. I alway's liked to think I could get out of trouble quicker than what I got into it!

    Royal Netherlands Army.
Started as infantry; made it up to sergeant; got a training injury and left.
Was Dutch TA for a while and got a tap on the shoulder that I could get back in! I'm now training to become our version of a QARANQ; it would be nice to have learned a trade if I ever have to leave again...
Watch out! Kim Jong Il is watching you!

If wars were won by feasting, or, victory by song,
or safety found in sleeping sound, how England would be strong!

But honour and dominion are not maintained so.
They're only got by sword and shot, and this the Dutchmen know!
