Not a good idea. I can see the usual suspects mashing the dislike button so hard and so often that they snap their mouse/desk/laptop in two.

OTOH, with some thought and Creative coding, once you've "disliked" someone's posts, 5 times say, the dislikee should automatically be added to the disliker's ignore list, thereby exercising the strength of will the disliker obviously lacks.

The 'like' button serves a purpose. It stops mongtards just typing "lol" after any faint whiff of wit. What would be the point of a 'dislike' button? "Fuck of and die you mongtard" is far more eloquent - and at least requires a tiny bit of effort.

It may help reduce the flaming we see where personal insults become the norm if we had a dis-like button or even like they do in some Comments areas on newspapers a plus/minus voting systems.

Just a thought and await response.
Sometimes the personal insults can be very entertaining and I for onethink ARRSE would be a worse place without them, but a "Throbber" button would save a lot of typing and perhaps give warning to the poster to wind his neck in or stop posting drivel.

You are only upset because I do not like any of your posts. Get over it.

I see that going round in circles is a past-time of yours. It's not mine however. If you've not worked it out by now you never will.

Actually, you have "liked" some of my posts in the past. I've just found one. Good luck searching through your zillions of "likes" to find them.

Would it be possible to have a button which PrinceAlbert could press which then automatically logs him out for 24 hours? It could be disguised as a 'Dislike' button.

It's not my fault that I somehow attract the site chods to my posts.

A dislike button would stop the site banter IMO.

It will also envoke a law suit between Westpoint and Arrse when he sues for RSI.
