Most of the stuff which sparked the pantomime below was "wind ups" and squaddie like banter between quarantine officers, many of whom are ex ADF.
If you can't see that a lot of blokes look at Arrse at work and disguising a porno' link can f*ck up people's lives, then you are a bloody fool.

Anyone who logs onto ARRSE on a work PC.. is asking for trouble IMHO. I can drag up a hell of alot of pics in threads , sig blocks etc that could land you in a whole pile of crap with the IT dept net nazis. Clicking on Dashing chaps link back then ( as I did ) was a cuntish thing to do for someone who was skiving at work etc.. but made me chuckle sat on my arse at home for about 30 seconds before I was calling him every cunt under the sun after having to kill power to rid my self of that site.. even more so as i was uploading to Utube at the time. TBH I find the same old same old boring one liner insults from the same users time after fucking time alot more irritating & tedious. I vote to give DC a break......
LT..
DC.. you got my paypal details correct ?

What armed forces are these? I seem to recall that, no matter where you were, there was always at least one thief about, one person of questionable hygiene, one ready to thrust a knife in your back... In fact, the armed forces probably has a slightly higher than average quota of dangerous f*ckwits and the unreliable - which is what makes them such fun.
Oink.

Did you read your link?
My prank is not quite in the same league as downloading and storing kiddie porn on a work computer. I remember one guy on arrse had a sig of two dogs shagging and then one puking up (which I thought was great). I could probably find several threads right now with inappropriate sigs/pics from the NAAFI.ELEVEN quarantine officers have been sacked and another 14 have resigned for calling up and storing pornography on work computers, with some of the material involving children.
I get the impression you're blowing this out of proportion just for the hell of it.For where thou art, there is the world itself, and where thou art not, desolation.

Can't believe this thread was put up for real. He's a prized twattipus of the highest order! Thoroughly resplendent in his 02 tag!

If you'd read my post properly, I wasn't actually complaining about DC and his posting of links. I've learned long ago not to blindly clink on links whilst at work or if young kids are about. If you place your mouse over the link, a little box pops up at the bottom of the screen telling you where the link takes you to and you can judge from that just how "safe" it is. For the record, if I personally clicked on the link, I can't remember it so can't have bothered me too much and his sig .gif didn't bother me at all (if anything, it reminds me to do my pelvic floor exercises
).
What I was complaining about was the inconsistency of the punishment for the crimes, but then that's always been the Army way. As someone else has said, there are far more deserving cases for the O2 tag than DC, but the O2 tag should be more of a punishment, similar to the new ROPs in restricting the recipient's usage of the site. At the moment it seems to be a badge of honour.
