I assume that he has probably been laying low for a while and 'tried this on' to see where he gets. He probably didn't expect the grown ups to repeat his 'solicitors' letter on ARRSE.
Much as many of us would have liked a chuckle at his demise, I don't think the campaign against him has had the desired effect. Many a poster was keeping track on his business affairs and they couldn't believe he was still trading.
It's early days on this thread and many an original poster has to voice a further opinion but I reckon if he was going to crumble under the mighty weight of allegations, it would have happened by now.
It's probably an ARRSEr who sent the correspondence in the first place!
