We've been asked to explain who PR-Totty is and what her relationship is with AModernMilitaryMother and why we let them on the site. I don't think that it is a particularly well kept secret that they are both aliases used by Clare Macnaughton who is someone we work closely with.

In her capacity as PR-Totty she helps us manage the fairly significant quantities of interest we get from the media and is also active in trying to find additional income to keep the site alive. By way of reimbursement we don't consider it to onerous to let her post her blog in the Other Half forum (she is married to a Chinook pilot of some repute so her credentials to be in there are pretty sound*) and occasionally publicise stuff that she is working on (Restrepo, etc).

Hope that makes sense and explains things a bit better?




* OK he is a crab ..... but the SH guys are about as close as you get to being green .... ish

My husband is a crab - he's NOT Maj Mark Hammond who is a booty. Hammond was our next door neighbour, when he was doing an exchange with the RAF - he has since moved on to pastures greener! My husband is a crab, currently stationed at RAF Odiham and is currently a Chinook pilot.
