Re: Do you support the BNP?
soon to be serving. Theres is no way i would vote for the bnp, however i think the way the country deals with immagration and the pc brigade i think many people will turn to them as they see no alternative. however it is pretty clear to me that nick griffin is a cnut and i think he will be shown as such on question time.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
Actually, they do, and very strongly. The 2% which I see at time of reading could represent 12 or so sitting MPs, while the 14% of 'possibles' could represent over 80. Those are the sort of figures which any politician squirts himself over. The interesting bit, of course, is that 14% of the polled, and why they're thinking about voting for the BNP. It's a protest vote, a complaint that the mainstream parties are being cowardly, mendacious and unrepresentative. And they're right.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
Even if I was enough of a moron to consider voting BNP, would I really be enough of a moron to admit it in public?
No, anyway.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
Serving and will not be voting BNP, however I strongly support their right to exist and campaign, just as every other political party has that same right.
Without a full spectrum of political parties, then what becomes of democracy?
If your choices become limited to 3 parties with essentially the same policies (Women only shortlists anyone?) then whats the point in voting at all?
The BNP does not represent me, nor does the LIB/LAB/CON cartel.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
Never served.
Would never vote for them.
However as we live in a democracy & they are a political party, allowed by Parliament to stand for election, they have the right to be abused & mocked on Question Time.
Edited to add: Dad is ex-serving, & would never vote for them.
Grandad is ex-serving (WW2 vet) & would also never vote for them.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
With 49 votes in and 81% declaring that they would not vote BNP, I am slightly surprised that 19% would consider or would vote BNP.
Would any of the 10 members that have cast their vote like to articulate their reasons for considering supporting the BNP. As a serving solider I would be interested in how the values and standards of the BNP sit with those of the British Army, particularly the tenant of Respect for Others.

I agree the maybe's are probably protest vote and as such no vote is wasted, even it only serves to give the maintsream parties a warning.
Question Time, I shall be glued to the telly for that tonight :D
I am curious to see if Griffin can keep his cool or not. I imagine the panelists and the audience will have the objective of goading him into behaving like a rabid dog, not sure which way it will go!

Re: Do you support the BNP?
None of the parties inspire me to vote, I do though admire the BNP for sticking to what they believe and not caving to peer / media pressure. If the other parties could do the same, I might start taking an interest. Until then, they're all as bad as each other IMO.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
Serving. Would not vote BNP.
However we exist to allow people the right to choose. This is their right and, like it or not, if we restrict their freedom to express themselves and choose their representation we become more like them.

Re: Do you support the BNP?
Current TA, Dads Ex-Reg - Neither of us would vote for the BNP. Though a party such as the BNP should serve as a wake up call to the main political parties.
Perception is what counts to the common man, issues such as housing, benefits, immigration is what is fuelly the BNP.
