Ex-Army. No, they wouldn't get my vote.

I despise everything the BNP stand for. However, freedom of speech and democracy mean sometimes having to hear things that you find distasteful - and the right to freedom of speech applies to all British citizens, including facists, communists and radical muslims.

To say voting to bring a racists into power is a protest then protest by voting for a party that are not opposed to the very thing most of us served for, they exploit that freedom to push theirs and only their views hateful people.
I'm sorry but there is no way that someone who exercises their democratic right and votes should be ashamed. It is appalling that you should think this way. I do not support him at all but I support the right of everyone to vote for who the hell they want to.
It was rather telling when the Gately question was raised, ok for a journo with no mandate but a paid master and prejudice to print spitefull hateful comments but not for Nick Griffen to say that Immigration is out of control?

Ex - Army and No they will not get my vote.

I quote myself from another thread to define the single biggest thing I worry about in this whole affair:

This is the moment where people dare not speak out except in the comfort of their own homes. There is an undeniable wave of opinion that immigration is not policed and enforced properly in the UK, but there is fear created by the State that you will be branded a racist if you say that publicly.

None of the mainstream parties have anything coherent on this and one fringe party is outspoken on it. Is it any wonder that the silent masses, who habitually do not speak out, are now looking at the BNP?

We live in dangerous times when the state is unwittingly creating the conditions for hard line nationalism to come to the fore. The issue must be addressed and the people shown that the BNP are not right for leadership in any form - rather that the country truly looks at its priorities and social issues, before it is too late.
This is the voice of the Mysterons.............

Re: Do you support the BNP?

    In and a reluctant yes.

Agree with a lot of their plans on dealing with immigration, youth culture, justice (Death sentence, chain gangs) and benefits(workfare not welfare as they call it)

But STRONGLY disagree with any Racism, hate mongering or holocaust denial (Its Stupid)

I am definately not a racist, I cant be, a lot of my mates are from the commonwealths, like I could turn round one day and say thanks for being my mate now P*** off home.

I have voted too many times liarbour (once is enough)
Our country is going down the tubes, we're skint, justice isnt justice anymore, How many times have you read an article about some awful crime that has been committed and the punishment was laughable.

I dont agree with the BNP but I think they are the ones who can sort out this mess.

Whether thats me been scaremongered in to voting for them or not I dont know.

Ex-serving and a definite NO, these people who dare to use the word British in their Moniker are anything but and their policies at present are a smokescreen to hide the real agenda.

Griffin is taking a leaf out of Herr Schicklegrubers book and playing down the radical intention in the BNP's ethos whilst concentrating on a modified plan which also concentrates on negatives that we can all identify with.

What he sees is a British version of "The Enabling Act" in Germany in the 30's after he comes to power which will give him unchecked power.

He's no more "changed his spots" than Hitler did during the Munich agreement and I very much doubt that he ever will.......
The Major said "Milligan, how long have you been in this man's Army?" I said "About 5 foot 11 inches"

Ignore it and it will destroy this country.

For someone who wouldn't vote for them, you've basically just agreed with their main policy
and you sound a bit like their target voter.

The welfare budget has always been far far higher than the defence budget. That isn't a new policy brought in by the present government. The welfare budget includes pensions, child benefit and all that. Haven't you realised that our population is getting old and that welfare spending will continue to increase?

I still say that they should suspend all benefits, including dole, state pension, incapacity and child benefit if you are convicted of any crime. If you laugh in the face of society then society is entitled to stop paying you. Vote for me, not the BNP.
No he hasn't. He just said that immigration is a problem, I agree with that. That is not the same as the BNP position, they want to deport none-white Brits. Knee jerk accusations and denying there is a problem like you just did is why the BNP have grown support.

    My bold.
He doesn't need an Enabling Act
We already have one and it is called The Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act. It was created by the current government and went through Parliament un-opposed.
If you want to see the real threat to this country you need to look a bit closer at what has being going on over the last decade.

Yes the BNP are devious muppets but they aren't a patch on the scum we already have in power.

What debate? Did you not see Straw put his fingers in his hears and go lalala?
It is the Labour Party that brand you as racist for arguing, that started long before Griffin put his oar in.

Serving and 100% NO. Can't see how anybody could even if they are somehow attracted to one or two things, such as harsher punishments for criminals, that the BNP promise can somehow put aside the fundemental facism at their core. The BNP place one racial group (however they define it) over another and that is wrong. Its not like we haven't seen where that policy takes you many times before, have we?

That said they should be allowed to enter the debate so their arguments can be shown as ridiculous and fundementally flawed as they realy are.

I think theyare a sign of the times and a product of our age. As such they have a right to exist. As shameful as it all is. I think he's a loon. I also think he is a holocaust denier to win votes in Austria etc - remember there is the Euro angle to all this.

Spot on jagman. It is Labour that has grown BNP support by branding everyone with immigration concerns as racists without listening to the arguments.
