Cheers, I was just relieved to have passed. I went into the interview just as nervous as everyone else but knew I must have done alright when he immmediately started taking the piss out of my trade choice. I think that might be the advantage of having a WO1 taking the interview, he didn't bother with any of the pretense. It does show that the non-physical tests must carry some real weight, cause I counted myself average at best when it came to fitness.

Never argue with an idiot. They pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Hi, i've got my interviews mid january and was wondering if you guys could enlighten me.
I know that they would ask you about why you want to join and about your chosen regiment. Though i'm just wondering if there's anything else i should do to prepare and what other questions are likely to arise?
Cheers.

The first interview is usually a more general background one. It's good to know some general numbers: how long have you lived at your current address; do you have any financial issue; welfare; if you have family in the forces, how long and where. Other stuff that might come up is education, hobbies, achievments, fitness etc. And yeah, knowledge of drugs policy and your knowledge of the job so for.
Second interview is usually with an officer or a WO. Its usually to see if you're ready for ADSC and phase 1. They might ask if you think you can adapt to the lifestyle, hack it physically and mentally, terms and conditions, job knowledge.
I cant guaruntee they'll stick to this but this was the advise I was given. For example if you've lived away from home etc then they might just skip the change in lifestyle stuff.
Just be honest and show that you've done your research and you're ready.
All the best
