Jumped yes. Full stop; well, I got dragged along the ground a bit.
Now lets get this parachuting bit in context. When we talk about parachuting, we are talking about the military version of insertion.
This is after all a military website.

Not the civilian version, which any numbnuts can do for a small fee.

Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with freefalling, I've done quite a few myself, but as it says on the packet.........it's not like the real thing!

Freefalling is for FUN, military parachuting has a definate purpose and you can only do it by going through Brize Norton, AFTER you've passed P Coy.

Unless of course, you've managed to blag your way through the back door!

So lets not get into the "I've parachuted and thought it was pants crap"

Cos it's not the same, arsewipe!

It only counts in the Airborne world, if you're a member of the "Freds"
Err no, there's another way but you have to earn your beret on that course....... :D

In a certain parachute battalion they didn't have to ask for them as they were issued to attached arms on arrival and no one gave a flying f**k. The only time it stopped was when there was a shortage of smocks within the system which limited exchanges.

But just to reiterate - none of the blokes gave a monkeys as to whether the attached arms etc wore smocks or not.

So is it 'ally' to not have your finger on the trigger guard, therfore having to take that vital extra second to get your finger to the trigger ? And his hood isnt rolled up at the back!!!

Its linked from an MOD website and features extensively throughout the site.

There was no objection when appearing in the 'Ally star' thread, why would there be an issue here?

Incidentally, are you not more bothered that one of your sprogs is making you look a bit 'coat' sensitive?
