Re: RAF Regiment... give me strength...
I only had to deal with them once - trying to call in a cordon and search on a suspicious vehicle...turned out to be the same old van that had sat in the corner of the field for years, used as a feed store.
Goes to show they should never have been allowed out of Aldergrove!

Re: RAF Regiment... give me strength...
As far as im aware, they were pretty much responsible for the security of RAF Aldergrove and the surrounding AOR for most if not all of the troubles.

Just wondering thats all. It just seems that every time i see them they are stood next to WMIK's drinking Mountain Dew.
Did they have WMIK's and Mountain dew in Ireland. Surely not?
So what did they stand next to?
What did they drink?
Who's photo's did they steal for their tour videos???JC For PM

Re: RAF Regiment... give me strength...
I'm not saying there are no such animals but I have never met a member of the RAF regiment in UKSF. Not even stagging on a the gate....
However the pubs of Hereford are full of baby crabs pretending to be in the SAS. Could this be what confused cds 120261 I wonder??

Rather large air conditioning unit on the back of that rover old chap, are you sure you need it ? :D
Had a rockape largeing it in the five star accommodation at the Priory Colchester, needless to say the other guests including a Pathfinder and a Royal Marine (both falkland veterans') were suitably not impressed, especially as he failed to reach stage two during his stay.Given to the House of Commons 20 April 1653
It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.
Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you?
Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter’d your conscience for bribes?
Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?
Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil’d this sacred place, and turn’d the Lord’s temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress’d, are yourselves gone!
So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors. In the name of God, go!

I'd say they've all had some part in every conflict since 1945 (and before) too, and they never felt the need to drive round BAS in a gay WIMIK pretending they were SAS while they drove from the crab enclosure to their next stag on the main gate.
You're so much of a c*ck you've got me pushing the Chunkies, the Monkeys the Cabbage Heads and the Wedgies.
