Discuss RAF Regiment... give me strength... at the The ARRSE Hole forum within the The Army Rumour Service website; I think a poll is needed to select pro raf reg posters from this thread ...
The RAF regiment are indeed a specialised force, part of their job is to go behind enemy lines & rescue downed aircrew, this is when they truly go into their 'RAF/SAS role. No I am not regiment, but I am aware of their capabilities.

Yes, i'm sure the SAS stag on in those monents they have nothing better to do.
I'm sure that there will be many members of the Royal Regiment of Artillery who take exception to these jokers calling themselves "Gunners". (What f*cking guns?)
Apparently they used to use bofors but I understand not many of them are allowed near the Rapier anymore so they couldnt be called rockets could they. Theycould always be called Schermully after the famous illum, kind of fits with the ease of biting manner in which they behave and the I'm a bright star attitude!

I was refering to the 'ROYAL AIR FORCE REGIMENT' the elite force colloquially known as 'the Regiment' within the RAF.
I am an ex RAF technician, but I would like to point out that a rifle is just as deadly in the hands of a steward or a cook as it is in the hands of an army infantryman.
