Strange i am sure our engineers would come out and say the exact same thing about us too even if the where REMF
    No they wouldn't.

RAF Regiment can't drink for shit. :P
One sunday as mother was repainting the house a a cunningly worded invitation to join WWII arrived.

"Just fancy" said mother "of all the people in the country they chose you"

Laughingly i felled her with a right cross.

Wombling: A term used by members of the Royal Armoured Corps to describe the clearing and/or removal of litter, not to be confused with any kind of military pastime; ie, being shot at.
Usually performed when heads of state and or other high ranking persons came to visit.
Usually performed on a Friday afternoon.

There's your problem... You don't see Rocks when they work you see them when you are hanging around inside the wire... I thought all you Army types were steely eyed killers that wouldn't be found dead inside the wire... Which begs the question "WTF were you doing inside the wire?". Don't tell me... I know... It doesn't matter why you spent enough time inside the wire to make an intelligent observation in this thread because you are a soldier first!!!! <ROFLMAO>
I'm in a REMF trade although unlike your RAF colleuges i am trained to be able to look after myself in the field. As we are deployable.

My observation is more to the point I never saw the Marines or paras lounging around posing like the rock apes were not even the Spams were big timing as much as the rock apes
If you're a REMF mate your not going to see * all, so wind your gums in and stop spouting s*** about things you know * all about you gay boy.

You obviously have no idea about life -- I really wish it was the 80's again in Germany(apart from PIRA) because tossers like you wouldn't be seen or heard from unless you managed to skulk into the NAAFI for a quick pie to add to the acne you already have.

    End of rant :D

Really are a bit of a nobber arent you, shows that you know fook all about the army, just because a person is a Remf does not mean they do not go out of camp on patrols with teeth arms and by teeth arms i mean proper teeth arms not jockstraps who do fook all except pose and big it up in the naafi bop and think that because they are the adult air cadets of the airforce that they are fookin singing and dancing

When you are out on the ground constantly like the inf, marines, paras, doing aggressive patrols in the middle of no-where, miles from camp for days on end then you might get respect but patrolling the airfield boundries counts for sod all you useless wannabe grunt. And trust me i wouldnt skulk into a naafi bop, wouldnt need to you lot do all the skulking you ponces. And i might be a Remf but i bet i have seen and done more tours than you!
    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH you're hard - tosser
Thanks, i probably am compared to a wannabe grunt.
End of day my point is, we end up in far worse situations than you do nowdays and have done for the last 17 years since op granby 1 and bosnia etc, lets face it you are obsolete since end of cold war except for stagging on, cheers for the picture from the falklands, nice spot on the hill! Do you think that there were no Remfs that died fighting in the Falklands i know that a few REME did for sure and i would guess that other Remfs would have been unfortunate to do so as well so whats your point with the pic? To show you shared the same dangers once 25 years ago?

What you are saying that todays danger is lol more dangerous than it was 25 yrs ago.

The point of the picture was to show that the RAF REGT work of base too,and the ARGIES didnt care if you were a para, bootneck, rock or guardsman or remf and there was more chance of being killed at san carlos than up front eithier by the ARGIES or the retuning AAAD fire what goes up must come down

No what i am saying is that you lot have done the square root of fook all compared to 25 yrs ago when you were in the falklands.

Don't bit Spanner, there's no need. These tossers can go on about 10 mile tabs (big deal) in an attempt to justify their existence but the proof is the pudding - hundreds upon hundreds of army lads have been killed in action in various theatres over the past thirty years whilst these wankers have cut about around their airfields. Sums up just how dangerous their job is in reality.
