I think the members only forum will bomb,it was very dull anyway.
It was a good idea, but there were a few old ones, who seemed to be upset with just about anything said against them, or any banter.
I won't be renewing my membership,in it's current format.
Too many tankies, for a start.

Fair comments but these sort of posts need to go on that forum so they understand the level of feeling. Firstly the main Tankie Man has gone, resigned and signed off the forum. Secondly what some may not realise is that the forum is now owned and paid for by the members of the OBA as opposed to the previous arrangement. The huge problems that occured a while back and again recently instituted by the same NON OBA member were very destructive and its only a tenner to join and £6.50 a year there after. So if enough like minded people as we see on here were prepared to stick their noses in we could have the forum we want and not the one the farts want us to have.
I do understand the feeling though and to be honest I am not sure why I bother except I have found some good mates by being on the OBA forum very important mates at that."No one is as angry as the person who is wrong."

Fair comment, however there are still a few, very protected old fuddy duddies, who chuck their teddy in at the slightest whiff of banter.
The chairman was a nice guy, and the ones I met, were a nice bunch.
I think I will use this facility.

Not sure if thats a good idea, ours went hidden becuase of a problem early on which meant that unless you could id a new username nobody new where you were.
However not a bleeder so never been subject to your odd short trouser ways but did think the original JLR Thread was a good read.Coaching done, training done - now she's just got to go out and do it. Brighton Marathon off you go.
Success is never final and failure never fatal. It's courage that counts.

Thats not quite true of all of us Scarletto my friend, some of us have posted in many areas and well before the JLR thing started. In fact many such as myself were on here well before the JLR OBA was even a spunk bubble. Not that I am saying its a spunk bubble now ( whistles)
