'Walk through security on the tube'? Forget it. Your idea to avoid distressing 'guys in suits' at the same time is cock "and you know it".

Large rucksacks? Saw a bloke stopped by an ARV right outside Westminster the day after the tube bombs. They were very kind to him and pointed the poor chap towards your brilliant insights here in order to educate him about his lack of 'savvy'.

BTP can't stop crime on the tubes any day of the week. Why we should expect them to be any better when there's a bunch of cretins wanting to watch a pile of junkies running round in circles at the Games is beyond me.

I have been guilty also, on several times.
This is a valid topic of debate. The sooner the Govt acknowledge that Pakistan etc and their populace, whether residing there or being 3rd generation UK immigrants here - mainly hate the UK and it's population and wish to change our way of living. This can never be publically acknowledged by the politicians though so excuses will always be made.

Having beeen born and bred in the Nelson / Burnley area I know this. I probably went to school with several modern day taliban helpers.
Pakistan / Bangladesh are no friend of the UK, and it's population, and people of their heritage are not either.

This is a knife arch, you walk through it to help provide security on the tube and it can detect if you're carrying metal stuff.

Perhaps because it would directly effect London tourism, how people perceive the UK around the world and also have a direct impact on our economy?

Although, if they were to accidentally blow up muslims, it could have the 'silver lining' of making those muslims who are straddling the fence between extreme views and extreme actions, choose not to convert to the latter.

These sorts of scumbags do it for the kudos. They want the attention of their peers before they go bang so they talk. We merely have to be paying attention to the right people at the right time and they're busted. These got caught, others before them, others before that now that our intelligence gathering has evolved.

I don't see a problem - and if they create a situation we can't stop them then we'll mop up what remains and go ass kicking afterward. Its the way the world works and as we can't do much else but try best to not bother discussing the fatalism of it all and just crack on with the job.
