You are an apologist for theist evil, and I see why you have an O2 tag.

Same observation by me when I lived and worked in Kuwait. Also noticed on flights back to the UK they would board the aircraft in full desert regalia. After take off, change into 'whistle and flute' and get laced into the free G&T's. Two faced bastards always left Kuwait during Ramadan too.

In what regard? I'm still arguing the culture angle.

Islam is a religion of violence. We see that all over the world, we are seeing it in a very big way in Nigeria. In short, the problem is Islam.
Then let us be so accused. The Aussies don't seem to mind, nor do the French. All the international fuss about the banning of a certain level of face covering has resulted in so much weeping and gnashing of Muslim teeth, and France is veritably awash with angry young Muslims all seeking martyrdom. Oh wait - no it hasn't. I'm not arguing the problem is purely cultural - Islam plays its role, but I do believe that the majority of the problems could be solved by engaging with the cultural differences and leaving religion largely out of it.

While never going as far to generalise, and counting several Pakistanis as friends (the mitigating cry of a Racist, I know...), this is also my experience, and I'd even go as far to say as borne out by the statistics, too.

Not all the belligerents are Islamic in Nigeria, but that is a result of Islamic violence as was Lebanon.

Do you think a black man could have walked into a church in a white area, less than fifty years ago in the US. Do I need to list all the wack job Christian cults, who abuse and only harm there members lives by their teachings, leading to death and harm, (including the catholic church).
The US had Apartheid less then 50 years ago, yes. This was nothing to do with Christianity or any other religion, this was to do with the way the US was run.
There are a lot of cults out there that have nothing to do with Christianity, and some do. I have heard of none that get up to the shenanigans that people of Islam do. So, yes, please list the wack job Christian cults and their crimes.....we can also compare them to the shenanigans that the people of Islam get up too.

Does Christianity portray itself any better in a modern world?
From an outsiders perspective, I think it does. With a simple look at the news on the Internet, I see a lot about Islam and its backward violent ways. I don't see much about Christianity except the odd priest being done for bumming a kid......which I gather occurs a lot in Islam as well. IMHO, Christianity is much more forward thinking then Islam......Islam appears to be going backwards very quickly.

We are almost always watched by someone when we go about our daily business, not even the commies managed that level of control.

A good Gulfi friend of mine is a massive whoremonger, drinks like a fish and is one of the friendliest blokes I know. His standard greeting to me when he sees me is 'Al, make me a bacon sarnie, but don't tell me what's in it'.
