    CDS - New RAF Beret

    BBC news at 6 today - Jock Stirrup on telly, in green kit wearing a royal engineer officers beret....either he left his hat at home, or is honorary colonel of some RE regt?

    Or is this the first sign that the 100 year experiment is about to be absorbed?

    Thought I was a bit quicker than that - was online about 2 secs after I saw the clip on news at 6?
