If you ignore Ashie's cant, and look at his reasoning: "Clegg = Tory = liar and obfuscator of intent"

Then you realise that Ashie shows Clegg could be a politician (of any party) with those quals.

At least Clegg has put a uniform on.

It is possible that the Student hasn''t ever voted, as the last election was some 4 years ago, and he may indeed have been too young at that stage.
come on now, dont confuse ashie. when did he ever care about the facts?
Don't try and defend fact-free bob. His last post is a classic example of someone not in command of his facts, or his typing hand. And, of course, someone who hasn't read the rest of this thread. He might want to read:

Is it my imagination or is Ashie getting increasingly grumpy these days. When Labour were doing quite well in the polls (high twenties) he was quite witty with some of his replies. Now Labour are doing worse than Michael Foot days, (high teens) he is getting really quite ratty.

Can't wait for the euro election results......

    Cheer up Ashie.

Ha at least Michael Foot could hold his party together, Brown has lost the plot and the backing of his own party and is now ensconced in his padded cell in No10. Ashie is disgruntled because he can smell the demise of his beloved Party. The country has sussed out Brown and his corrupt greedy cronies and is now seeking the earliest possible General Election. The writing is on the wall, Unemployment looms.

you'll forgive me (and many others here, I imagine) if I pay little credit to anything you say on here - after all, the expenses row, which you declared to be a 'non-story' I believe, has caused not only several MP's to resign but has also prompted replacement of the Speaker - which we have all had pointed out to us has not been done for over three hundred years.

if you put as much effort into actually engaging with people here and making an effort at reasoned debate, as you do in blindly repeating labour cant in the seeming hope that if you keep repeating it it'll either a. all come true or b. people will believe you, you might find your time here far more pleasant. as it is, you're about as welcome as a case of the squits when you're wearing white jeans. only not as funny.

in fact, why do you keep coming here ashie? you insist you're not paid to do this, so I can only think you're an S&M enthusiast with a fetish for political debate - because you keep getting your arrse spanked on every thread you post on.

All this party bollox is masking the point here. Whatever the party, an MP couldn't take criticism from a constituent and threatened him with legal action. He's a tw@t because of it. End of. Hope he gets kicked out. The To$$er!!!

Ashie will hate me for this, but I am encouraging all my Conservative voting friends to vote UKIP, just to do our bit and see if we can push Flash Gordon and his cronies into FOURTH place.

Adding, by kicked out, I mean voted out. We all know they can do anything they want and stay comfy with their expense accounts, wage and nice pensions...

It was the Jackie Smith story which I said was a non-story. And you have to admit that you rarely see it now!
