I respond very little to your posts to be honest because, unless you divert a thread I'm interested in, I learned a while ago to avoid your own, rather self-serving posts.

I too wondered how someone posting on the Internet could gather so much dislike around him. Perhaps it's the manner in which you post? I believe that many people on the internet are fairly honest about where they're coming from. I haven't met many people on the Internet who will claim that their family have been annihilated by the Army. Clearly though, there are liars on the internet, so you are not alone in that.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I feel no compunction to run with the crowd. I have my opinion and will generally stick to it unless persuaded otherwise by good, reasoned, argument and debate.
I don't recall having called you any names, certainly not pseudo-intellectual or know-it-all. As you yourself have stated you're of roughly average intelligence; this is clearly evidenced by your posts and the manner in which you post. Perhaps if you were a tad more intellectual you could come up with a convincing argument once in a while rather than the heavily sarcastic attempts at putting others down that is your normal approach.
I find it strange but not unexpected that you believe that anyone who dislikes you lacks intelligence. They are merely reacting to how you are, have a think about that, is it they who are at fault and causing unrest or is it you? You have this need to call people mucker as if we're all friends together, ever wondered why you feel the need to do that? I have no objection to befriending you but you're not my type, you're neither honest nor stimulating nor have much of a contribution to make.

One thing I'm very aware of is my own shortcomings, of which there are many. I don't blame you for any of them. You had no part in my upbringing nor education so why should I try to blame you for anything? I'm surprised that you feel it a normal part of human nature for others to blame you for their shortcomings. Could it be that you place far too great a significance on your own place in the great scheme of things? Perhaps it's your own inability to empathise or comprehend the motivations of the posters on here that puts you so at odds with the mainstream? Perhaps you should take time out for a period of self-reflection? We shall miss you but not so much that you should feel inclined to return from the wilderness too soon.

Let me help you a bit on that second one. It's normal human behaviour to put other down to make ourselves feel better about ourselves. It's also human nature to want to broadcast such "put-downs" to as many other folks as possible in order to engender a generally negative attitude towards the person referred to. Now that doesn't happen unless this reference person has triggered some pretty strong emotions. Over to you.
