Signals Ruby Dog, you need to keep in very close touch with your HR. are you a volunteer or a pressed man? I would suggest putting in an FTOD at the earliest opportunity, so you need to make a quick decision about where in the UK you want to be. Also ask your HR to get you in touch with IERO system so you can plan your Resettlement.
I would need to know more to help you.Paymaster

Thanks Paymaster
I'm a volunteer and our HR staff consists of 1 Sgt who also runs everything else for 82 of us so, even though he is a great guy, he can only be expert in so much so I'm unlikely to get much joy there.
I know where I want to get a surplus quarter - West Midlands or Bristol area - and put that on my application. I'm due posting in less than 2 months and have not been posted - for obvious reasons now! I'm going to have to go back to UK ASAP to a surplus quarter, if such a thing exists, and will be on leave or resettlement from arrival in UK until 11 Dec.
Does this help? Can I send you my e-mail to liaise direct instead of in public?Work To Live

Dog, yes send me an email address and I will try to help you. Firstly decide where exactly you want to go, it has to be somewhere that has a post that you could occupy, ie an Inf Capt's post that you could fill. It would be best then to discover a local admin unit to ask if you could be attached as a last 6 monther. You need a stable, good RAO and IERO to support you

By now volunteer redundees should have; ensured that their HR person has carried out the action necessary to change their EED, checked your JPA workflow, updated your profile including your mobile and email addresses and contacted the IERO to book your first consultation. Oh and if you are a CEA claimant have written to the children's school to give notice if you are going to withdraw them

Dont know how yr Bde is running things there, but 7X had everything prebooked for them, no need for individuals to book anything, Applicants followed by Non applicants on briefings, CTW booked, CV workshops booked, and FTODS faxed to MCM Div in the space of 48 hours

If anyone needs phone numbers or e-mail addresses for SLST in UK, send me a PM. I am also the font of most knowledge on who to call for stuff. It might be shit sometimes, but I will always know someone who knows. Ask Escotia.
Oh, and get this, Paymaster - I've got to do my bloody CTW again because apparently I can't do my Life Skills 2 as well as Life Skills 1 because "they haven't got the funding".
At least I know what to expect this time, and am prepared to tell them how much shit they are talking.
I'm already practising my "Is that right?" in the only way I can say it.

The quote of the thread. The time will flash past in a haze of HO/TOs & leaving piss ups with a spot of complacency.
Don't fall for that trap. Look after yourselves FFS because no other fecker will.
Another small tip is that while you will get access to the Right Job website (which for me didn't get me a job but did help me refine my CV & experience so I did after six years graft) this only lasts two years. Get on the fecking thing & use it, it will give you a heads up & you may well regret not making the most of it.To eat well in England one must have breakfast three times a day

Would love to have seen my IERO by now but because my MCM couldn't process the JPA workflow in normal work time I haven't. They have got a special team in this weekend to do!! Two weeks after the announcement! Another Corp who had a larger amount of people selected with had completed it in 48hrs. I have had to go head and book courses with no advice as not to lose out! Also I do fly on holiday today so this weeks delay is my fault.
