Try Post 29 on page two. Are you quadraplegic, mentally handicapped or bone idle? Or of course RAF, then you qualify under all three.

You can't do that to a CO, your career would be ended...

I may be wrong, please re-read (the whole document as tehre are little titbits all over it) or ask for more professional advise.

Basically, due to having TWO pension schemes in place (AFPS 75 and AFPS 05) they have had to make the distinction between the LoS. I believe it means you take the LOS as the time from your 18th birthday or from when you joined if later, not taking in to consideration service before this birthday should you have joined younger. Whilst this distinction is not needed with AFPS 75, AFPS 05 takes service prior to 18 in to consideration.

Likewise if you look at teh LE length of service, the LOS starts at their commision point, not their overal service. Your RCMO or other Career Managment WO/Officer will be able to fully clarify or use your CoC. Likewise, if you haven't been informed by now, then you aren't in the sights for tranche 1.

Might be an idea to read the DIN, as there is a little paragraph regarding such a scenario... you may find your CO is on the right planet.

Armynet has a copy, if you are at home, as do a few other open web sites.

CO is on the right planet.

If you are warned for H15 you cannot be made redundant as a non-applicant. But if you are in the fields you CAN APPLY. If you are then selected, you will go on tour and be allowed to leave six months after your POTL.

Regardless of whether he's on this planet or not, it's still a cunt's trick.

If you don't want to play, sign off.

I'd imagine for many a tour would be a fine time to add to their redundancy payout.

How can it be! You can only be made redundant in that instance if you apply - so the choice is the individual's alone.
I could match my wage in civvy street but then I'd have to do some work!
