I have just had a phone call from the medical center and i am now to have a full Med Board after i have had my CT Scan.I'm not to sure what is going to happen with me now,i have got mixed emotions from uncertainty.

is there a dif between an Invaliding med discharge and a normal med discharge or are they the same thing ? im being Invaliding from the armed forces forgive me if this is a bone question,ive got so much paperwork here lol

Page 7 of the invaliding brochure explains that:
Invaliding
The process where an individual is medically discharged from the Armed Forces because they do not
meet the high medical standards. Invaliding applies to individuals whether or not their ill health or injury is
attributable to their Armed Forces Service. Invaliding does not mean that the individual could not be
employed in many other forms of full or part-time civilian employment.
Medical Discharge
See Invaliding.

Thanks mate,
ive been waiting ages now for my discharge date, so i contacted jpa today, to find out whats happening, and my discharge date is still 2019
they said unit hr deal with med discharge, but they say nothing sent yet from med board, however i have a copy of my med board that they said has been sent to Glasgow ages ago, any ideas ?

some muppet today said it must be great being at home for the last 15 months on sick leave with full pay,
some people dont understand it that being in the army for the last 18 years and before that working since i was 16, just how much of a pain it is and that boredom is worse than anything, i for one hate this being paid or not its still crap how ever way i look at it,but then again most of the population are used to not working now adays lol
