Maybe it's largely down to how you conduct yourself in dealings with RMP and they're not there to make friends. Disregarding SIB; long, long ago during the Cold war of the early 80's and on attachment to provost coys in NI, there were those that would drive without insurance, and those caught visiting OOB areas in L'Derry. In the main and certainly in the Province , they were a good bunch dealing with and attending some of the worst IRA activities. Idiots everywhere in the Army, but RMP were not the worst by a long chalk. Disregarding SIB.

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them

William Ralph (Dixie) Dean (Everton FC 1925–1937) was asked if he was ever spoken to by a referee he replied "Only once"....."And what did the referee say?"........."Would you like a peppermint, William?"

I have read the majority of posts here.
I will be joining the RMP for what it SHOULD represent. Hate me or not I will do the job how it's supposed to be done (being a damn good soldier at first) whilst being proud about it. Does sound like a lot of fucking assholes are in RMP merley for the "power". My ideal career path would be RMPCP. But my love for the para's is just the same.
