New ACF website
It's a start...
Make Your Mark | ACF | Army Cadet Force
CEOP | Army Cadet Force
Spot the links at the bottom, and one CEOP linked to report online issues...I like saying, you can tell me as often as you like, but if you can't show me...

I am a cadet instructor so i am well placed to comment on such things, my question is this ' why do they have to photograph AI's that not only look physically unfit, biologically unhealthy and overall the Farking stereotype of a friggin sex offender?
Thank you, that is all.

Turtlehead,
If you have a question then please raise it in a constructive manner rather than in the styles of a recipient of congenital disease.
Other than that, take your head outside and give it a wobble.I had a black shirt, but I wasn't one.

Nope no question, just expressing an opinion, albeit a slightly unconventional opinion, no offence intended, just those friday afternoon blues

The photos reflect reality, half the instructors are bigger than ideal. I am and I was when I was an acf instructor. What is the point of using instructors who think they are Andy McNab? They are usually the ones that end up being escorted off camp.

That is true, and most of the activities performed by ACF instructors do not require super human strength, endurance and stamina, however i do think most of the current forms used by the ACF (529 joining form) and publically available images do not show AI's in the best light, especially to many who enjoy taking the piss (a lot like i did above).
Now i am no superman, nor do i profess to be a super soldier, and most certainly do not pretend to be anything other than i am, perhaps in future my comments should be presented in a more respectable manner (at least until i see which way the thread goes)

True, but one has to strike a balance somewhere. The advance party of the county acf that came to take over the accomodation from us at a certain training camp earlier this year were a fecking disgrace. All were morbidly obese and one of them looked like an overweight version of the little bald fella whose head benny hill used to slap. Dressed in slacks and a vest! I thought they were going to offer to do some cheap tarmacing

So thats why I have never heard back! Twice I have sent of application forms and twice I never heard a thing back!
Perhaps at 11 stone, fully "Enhanced Disclosured" and experience teaching, lecturing and instructing youngsters and 11 years service is not what they are after :(

Hang on a minute, hang on just one fucking minute. Every other thread in this forum consists of pages of ACF bashing by the same tossers, and I've never once seen them get pulled up on it. It's become a 2nd NAAFI, you want a laugh, go and prod the bum touchers for 10 minutes. An actual ACF person states a legitimate point and he gets a lecture? Considering it's dress and standards that always seem to attract derision, surely he's got a point?
