The thing what alsways amazes me is how people think they can spin such yarns and believe they can get away with it. There is certain enough ex serving personnel who really have been there and done it to quickly spot a walt so why bother?
You mean you don't explain in graphic detail the way a milan hits a tank, bounces around inside whilst the missile liquifies everyone and then chooses a nice place to exit, sucking a crew soup out of the hole behind it?
How on earth do you expect the kids to respect you?
If explaining stuff like that to the cadets is what is needed to earn respect, then I really dont want it.
Although my cadets seem to think that soldiering is like an American war film.
