The BNP is a legally constituted political party, It has two ELECTED members in the EU parliament. People voted for them in sufficient numbers to do that. Let them have their say. You can always vote for another party. Simple.

devilish:
I reckon the tw@t will be the one that walks away looking good. Remember, he's not stupid, well stupid but very well educated.

I think he will. The BNP have been very canny about not counterdemonstrating today. They've let the part time anarchists of the left have a free reign and the tw4ts have made themselves look like morons.

I'd like someone in the audience to ask him if he's ever heard an articulate argument from his opponents, Peter Hain included, as to why he should be prevented, as an elected MEP & leader of a legal party, from appearing on Question Time.

I've been staggered by the standard of Neanderthal viloence and embarrasingly poor sixth form standard debating skills that I've heard and witnessed from the Anti Fascist Fascists on radio & TV news programmes today.

We've heard Will Young, Frank Skinner & Ian Hislop. What gives them more right to debate the issues than Griffin?

Let's hear him. If he's a kn0b we'll soon see it for ourselves

Dont know if anyone noticed or if it was intentional but when the BBC showed the live introductions to the stage, Griffin got booed but on the re-run at the highlights those boos turned into clapping :S

The BNP gained 2 MEPs when their constitution was one which the UK authorities have only recently declared as racist.

Can anyone explain this anomaly?

They got in when it wasn't declared racist, they were a bit late but they've shut the stable door now.

Because nobody was bothered when they could be dismissed as fringe loonies.
Now they are a percieved threat to several MP's jobs they want to do something about it.

I wonder if the questions asked will cover current affairs topics plus the usual idiot/funny final one? .... or will they just ask questions that are targeted at Griffin instead of the panel in general?
Unfortunately living outside of the UK, I cannot access the programme.

Has the EU introduced legislation to the effect that a political party may not be racist?

If it hasn’t, then is it not beyond possibility that we could have a political party which is racist under UK law but not under EU law?

In which event which would have precedence?

Beerfun:
I fought for this country so that everyone can have there right to say what they think, whether I agree or not.

I completely agree. As Voltaire didn't say " I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it".

At the end of the day the BNP are a legally constituted political party with 2 MEPs - the fact that people do not personally agree with them does not negate their right to take part in political debate. Otherwise where does it end? I personally think that Harriet Harman is a dangerous hypocritical hysteric and I'd really rather not listen to her peddling ignorance and bigotry on the radio and television, but you don't see me out throwing eggs around and waving mis-spelt banners.

If the BNP are so full of c**p (which I believe they are) then what's the danger of them appearing? They might even, as some have noted, shoot themselves in the foot... Very Happy

He has even pushed a few of mine by suggesting that third world economic immigrants are housed in Notting Hill to live side by side with the 'Liberal elite' who let them into the UK in the first place.

Sorry to drag this off topic, but what an outstanding idea!

BNP policies

British Jobs for British Workers -----simple this as their are no jobs
British Homes for British Families ----simple again as their is no council houses to be built
Stop Immigration and Put British People First ----watch the english health service die
Say NO to a federal Europe, Keep Britain Free -----but tied up with government bonds and loans
Bring British Soldiers Home from Afghanistan -----will bring the taverns back to life if naught else
Put British Workers Before the Banks ---totall misunderstanding of this one
Promote British Culture, Traditions and Heritage ----as fish and chip supper and strikes and homosexuality
A Future for British Children ----let them hope it is unlike the one planned by the catholic church

Looking at this trailer news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk...321566.stm I don't think Griffin had a very good time on the show today.

Really, when did they show that.

You see, normally QT is recorded at 19:30 and nothing was said at the 6 o clock news to say things would be different.

I would be interested in where you saw this Colton
