Excellent advice from someone who won't even know you're being processed through the criminal justice system and will care even less. you can quote him in your defence....'but your honour, vaaanmaaan told me it would be OK!' I'm sure once you're inside he'll offer to pay your rent/mortgage so you don't end up homeless and he'll probably look after your mrs and daughters, regualrly. Who needs solicitors with such sage indiviudals as this on the interweb.
Most people have one on their mobile nowadays. Even my cheap and nasty £20 Nokia takes a half decent photo.
Lest not forget that some of the beggars and 'so called scumbags' on the streets nowadays are former soldiers fallen on hard times. If MDN was asking for donations to get him back on his feet we'd all be chipping in to help him out.Having said that, this one sounds like a right twat.
Ex-squaddie or not, it does'nt excuse threatning, abusing or attacking someone because they won't give you money for their next fix.
To suggest otherwise in an insult to all the ex-soldiers etc who simply get on with civilian life without bothering anyone else.
I'm all for giving former soldiers who have fallen on hard times a helping hand - just NOT a free pass.
Agreed. Hence my last point about said scumbag.
Don't want to piss on your fire but I take it your avatar/Handle reflect your age...its hard, I went through the same(I'm 60) when a couple of years ago a scrote..well three of them tried it on I did alright for about 90 secs..enough to put them off, but after, that was it, if they came back, I was 'toast'...dead hero...mmm...no...!!
Tony Martin's case comes to mind. If he'd shot the guy in the house everything would have been OK, but he shot the guy in the back as he was running away. Therefore, murder.
Not trying to be Devils Advocate, I too think this law is poorly thought out.
Mind you Mr Martin was very unlucky to have the only 12 people in the country who think burglers have rights to be sitting on the jury

For future reference.
Make sure that any wounds you inflict are on the attackers front.Wounds on the back would indicate the scumbag was moving away from you,and plod would probably treat you accordingly.

The wife and me went up to see my Daughter yesterday who is at University and have been really looking forward to it.
We had a great day lunch, shopping and generaly catching up on news.
We was walking back to the campus around 16.30hrs yesterday afternoon when a scumball approached us and started demanding money obviously to fund his drug use.
I just said "No" and carried on walking with my wife and daughter under a hail of abuse from the scum bag which was not a problem to me.Next thing there was glass falling around us.The scum was that pissed off he had thrown somthing at me and it broke a small window.
This really frietend my wife and daughter so I gave chase to kick feck out of this scumer who wanted to hurt my family. He managed to give me the slip but Im sure he knew he was going to get a good kicking off me.
On reflection and having calmed down if I had caught this scum and laid in to him most likely it would have been me seen as the scum in the Courts and the drug addict getting compensation, counceling and me the "Veteran" in deep s***.

I love how everyone cites Tony Martin, and gets all riled up.
What no one seems to remember is the Story that made it into the local Newspaper (I'm not a million miles from Tony Martin's). But for some reason it never got the coverage of Martin's case.
A Farmer hears some noise from his garage one night. Goes out with his shotgun to have a look.As he's approaches he sees some scrotes loading his Quad bike into the back of a van. Upon being challenged the scum jump into the van and try to get away. AS there's only one road, and the farmer was standing in the road the Van was heading straight towards him. He fired both barrels of his shotgun through the windscreen. I remember he hit the little shites, can't remember if it was terminal though.
He got off scot free, it never made it to court. The Police didn't even attempt to charge him.
Now I'm not defending aforementioned scum in Sixty_three's account, hell I used to be campus security, with a Pikie infestation right next to my site. So I know how much bother they can be. I'd quite happily exterminate the lot of them. Just pointing out that Tony Martin's case wasn't Unique, and if its within hte law it doesn't go anywhere.

The expression used was a Pikie which is a slang expression for Gypsies.
Pinkie is a slang expression for your little finger. You make up your own mind who might move in next to a university campus?

"Pikie" or "Pikey" Which one is correct? My Spell checker has come over all politically Correct, and tells me both are wrong.
