Gundulph

Why not leave it blank - people can then get it engraved with their name or Arrse nickname.

They should all have a unique number.....that's the whole point of them.

Also......god forbid that your account gets banned by the MODS for no apparent reason, and you have to create a new one! Wink

Maybe like ShortArms says - simply "Holidays 4 Heroes"

Other ideas welcome, maybe something from MDN, YesItsMe or anyone from the Sgt Slingsby Team could suggest something?

How about "Proud To Serve / Served With Pride" as an inscription?

Mongo:
How about for the back - "Helping Those That Deserve It, Ridiculing Those That Don't"? Sums up ARRSE fairly well I think.

While you are right, it's a coin, not a plate Wink

But it's an ARRSE chal coin, the proceeds are going to H4H, but it should stsill be ARRSE if you ask me.

I like the current design to be honest.

I like it, and think the top of the rear should be left blank, for the owner (if they so wish) to have their user name engraved

I think you are right, maybe just Member of ARRSE or British Army or something similar, it defintiely needs something around the top...

Maybe even left Blank so people can add their own messages in there for instance if it is a present for someone or if they want their Arrse member name in there...

Gundulph:

I like the design.

For the rear, either Hol4Heroes or leave it blank.
(Btw there is a lot of ARRSE on the front side, for those who think it wouldn't be an ARRSE thing with Hol4Heroes on it. Wink )

And if we can choose, I'd like to have #666. Very Happy

What about a Latin inscription, you can fit so much more in. EG

'Telling it the Way it is' would be 'dico is via is est'

Who can come up with he best latin phrase?

Of course I would simply favour 'UBIQUE'

Okay, as a few are saying the top should be left blank then that's what we'll do, the only other changes are minor - 'The' will be taken out from 'The ARRSE Challenge Coin Rules" and the http:// will be removed from the ARRSE Website Address at the bottom...

After the Auction of the 1st 10, YesItsMe and anyone else who want a particular number, a few have mentioned their last 3 for example, then no probs you can add your preferred number here in the thread so YesItsMe you have officially booked yourself #666 you Devil You Twisted Evil

MittMayo, Again you could always get what you want Engraved in that part of the Coin, maybe even have your Unit/Troop/Platoon etc. or a Course Name and Number and present it to anyone who passes.

If it goes up to 1774, I'd like to have that one.
