Thats what I did, a lot quicker.
Should I try that? I phoned up and asked but the receptionist was being a bit of a cow and said I couldn't, and that I should just bring them in and give them to her so she can put it in his pegion hole.. I wonder if there would be anything wrong with me just booking an appointment, and taking my med forms with me, by-passing the receptionist's knowledge of the med forms, then when I get in the docs office just be like "i have some forms here..." dunno what you think?
I rang up and said i would like to book an appointment for an army medical, don't take no for an answer that's what i did it on a Tuesday and by thursday my AFCO had the forms and where sent off that day.

He took 2 minutes at most ticking all the No's, then handed me them back
I said it went smooth, but its not been in the hands of ADSC yet and fully cleared, so time will tell, but so far so good. I'll be hand delivering it to my AFCO Wednesday now probably, just to make sure everything's sound for sending up to ADSC.

Congrats Fella. Fingers crossed it doesn't bounce back from ADSC. See i'd recently moved when i applied for the army.. so there was a bit of waiting time on my med history to be sent down.
Not to worry though things were squared away pretty sharpish. But some GP's are a little funny over filling them in whilst your present ... not too sure why, but hey whichever gets the job done.....

No worries it should be sorted tomorrow. Any idea what they are requesting extra info over?

Yeah, Hopefully!
I know when I applied last year they wanted information on counseling I had for a family incident, happened a good 5 years ago now! Its the only real smudge on my history, so I assume its this!

Yeah, I remember my brother having a similar incident when he was joining the plod!
I booked an appointment to have my forms filled in, as I didn't trust him - also as my Recruiting Sgt said it was best. He had the cheek to ask me in there "Why did you require an appointment? I could've done this alone", I guess he forgets that he left my brothers forms collect dust for a number of weeks!
Saying that, I should've probably worried when he queried whether I had seen a military doctor before. Then he went on to ask "May I tick 'No' in these boxes?" - I had to explain, "No, you only answer those questions if you have seen a military doctor in the past..". Didn't really instill much confidence in me..
Then when another family member went to him about pains in her legs, he replied "I'm not sure about the cause, but I get something that sounds exactly the same!".
Is it obvious that I want a new doctor?

At first she tried telling me that the forms had been sent off the second of June, then I had to explain that they had sent back a request for more information. She seemed a bit confused and said it hasn't been logged with them yet... she'll have to ask my doctor and then give me a ring at some point. *sigh* Why can I see this getting rather messy?!
