I side with the Latvians. They have enough problems without being invaded or inundated every week-end by:

shaven-headed, lager-gutted, nose and ear-studded, barely literate (thanks Bliar), inevitably incontinent, wholly repellent, vomiting, violently inclined, illegitimate child producer, socially inadequate, Labour voting (if sober enough), benefit dependant, job-shy, verbally challenged, criminally inclined and experienced, vest-wearing gangs of semi-literates from 'Inger-land' - the cream of Bliar's Britain.

Couldn't agree more with you.

I don't know, we treat these foreign types almost like racial equals and this is the thanks we get.

I hate xenophobes.... and filthy foreigners!

nice to see the scots welsh and irish have been behaving themselves, acting with decorum and efficiently lying about where they come from

Raises Head above parrotpit.

Maybe he is diabetic and has a bottle of "suger tablets" and the label has every language in the wider EU and at the bottom is printed Made in England (but actual made in Swansea Wales).

OH and they sent 2 policemen from South Wales to help them "understand" and converse with the yobs.
Which means the majority of mindless sheep shaging yobbo pig's are from south wales or sound like they are!

And I should know!
Nes pa!

I bet the occasional member of the Soviet army did more than pi55 on their memorial... Rolling Eyes

That aside, if you advertise your shitty coiuntry as a party place, its going to happen, just like it does everywhere else in the world.

The memorial pi55ers are cnuts, but re that Latvian turds comments, "Fcuk him!"

Indeed, but if some Latvian pitched up in London and hosed down the Cenotaph, we would probably take a fairly dim view as well.

Problem is, some people interpret "on the p1$$" just a bit too literally.

Some people interpret having a 40th and a sexy dog a bit too funny as well. Oh shite, is this where I was a disgrace?

That's because the rest of the world, quite rightly, doesn't recognise the minority entities taht comprise the remainder of GB/UK - although they also do not realise that the majority of the 'dirty/hoggish' types emanate from said minorities.

I'm with you on this one, but you didn't quite nail the description of Brits on tour/at home. You forgot to mention the tattoos. Smile
As for the Latvian official - good on him. However, if you want to rid your city of the problem, the solution is simple - raise your prices and you may make Riga an attractive option for those of us who don't wish to see large groups of pissheads making c*nts of themselves.

The lat is stronger than the pound at the minute. Prices are quite high enough, £3 for a beer most places and £8 or £9 for spirits and a mixer. Thats tourist prices though of course. No tourists = no tourist prices. Fcuk em

Christ, I thought it was attracting a certain type of "tourist" because of cheap booze - I stand corrected.

Quote:
The mayor of the Latvian capital of Riga says British stag parties will no longer be welcomed with open arms.
...
Mr Usakovs said some British visitors were guilty of misbehaving: "Let's not be politically correct - unfortunately, this is their speciality."
...
The biggest complaint is about tourists who urinate on central Riga's Freedom Monument, which honours soldiers killed while fighting for independence between 1918-20, Mr Usakovs said.

Many visitors have been arrested and fined for relieving themselves on the 138ft-high monument, or climbing on it naked to pose for pictures.
...
Last year the country's then interior minister, Mareks Seglins, complained about "English pigs" and said they were a "dirty, hoggish people"
...
Earlier this year South Wales Police sent two officers to Riga to advise on how to deal with hen and stag parties from Britain.

I think if a bunch of drunken Latvians decided to pi$$ on the Centotaph, being called a pig would be the least of their problems - still would not qualify us as xenophobes though.
If its that big a problem why don't they park a police car in the square?

Spot on.
