They certainly did on my old department!
Not sure if they were "allowed" though.

Can't complain mate, been busy getting into my new gaff but settling in nicely. It's 2 coats colder out here though.

Aye, they have real winters over there, 'Gull!

Do you still have to do Basic at the Academy?

Yeah, I don't mind though, will give me a chance to intergrate, seeing as I'm now officially an immigrant (I hope Canadian Nick Griffin doesn't get in over here).
I don't Profess to be some sort of Uberplod so I'm happy to sit there, keep my gob shut (none of that "in the UK we/I did"), and just learn.
Cheers mate, I'd encourage anyone with the means and opportunity to flee the UK to do it. It's a disaster and I can't see anything improving.
I'm not so naive to think this place isn't without it's problems but they can't be anywhere near as bad as back there.

I can't see a Nazi-Walt getting into power in a country where a sizeable percentage of the population are descended from the French!
Oh, hang on...

Living in America, where I eat my meal no earlier than 6.30 pm, I can whole-heartedly say that it is evening at that time, despite the fact I spend all my day eating doughnuts and KFC. And when the cop drives by on his patrol with his window down, I say "evening" to him before diving for cover as he lets of a revolver full of bullets because this is, after all, America. if it's just before I eat, or even just after it makes no difference as I am American, and eat all the time.
Having a job in international business, I take planes a lot and always wanted to see the twin towers close up. Fortunately for me, not quite THAT close up. it's quite often up the front, where the pilots noramlly get to sit however I lick windows and dribble a lot so they let me sit on thier 'special places.' Where there's all manner of blokes in suits carrying laptops and briefcases, reading reports and broadsheet newspapers I often get them to accompany me to the john, thats toilet for you English guys, where I fellate them, thats blow them to you English guys. The odd woman too, doing exactly the same although I like to suck her clunge until her face caves in. Business class, I think they call it, thats where most of my trade is. Where businessmen sit, normally on my face. Doing business.
Homosexual is bad, but heterosexual good? I think there may be some mileage in that statement after all. Either way, I'm juiced up.
