Funny how there was no national coverage/mass outrage over this incident then.

Bet the Daily Hail/Scum/Express editors were annoyed at the perps turning out to be white non-muslim blokes!

What? Can't fulminate about immigration/multiculturalism/muslims? Bugger! Rolling Eyes

Kick the fukcin fenian bastards all the way back to the pope

Hoi. Less of that please.

As a Fenian b-d myself, I would ask the honourable member for Bigotry north if he knows the religious characteristics of the first and last casualties of Op Banner? Thought not. Twunt.

Fenian ...

If you are a Fenian Cuddles then let me tell you... the famine is over, please go home!
In modern day terms it is used by the neds to abuse Celtic fans, but the Scottish politico many of whom are one of that merry band have got it put into law that it is a bigoted term for a Catholic. It is not. And I would ask you to tell that to the many Protestants that support Celtic, and indeed the Catholics who support Rangers.

Again people who have gained office are re-writing the facts.

As for Wonk_Mog... please come into the light you knuckle dragging fcukwit.

Ahh religious acrimony still alive and well I see. I wouldn't mind betting there were as many Catholic supporters of our troops watching that parade as Protestants and those taking part equally as diverse.
One of the privileges of living in a Democracy is freedom of speech - we might not like what some say- though what's the alternative? Suppression? Which in turn leads to oppression? Those arrested were rightly charged though not because of their views - or what they said - rather the disorderly manner in which they conducted themselves.

Fenian now a 'hate' word in the UK? 'An Phoblacht' was fond of quoting (as were the Falls' graffiti artists) Padraic Pearse's... "The fools the fools... they have given us our Fenian dead...." So how is Fenian a derogatory word? Many a 19th and early 20th century Irishman would have been proud of the sobriquet.

Leave the bigotted crap out of this forum - if you served - you served with protestants and catholics - relied on them, they on you, and were closer to each other than family.

That sounds like Frankie Boyle "trying to bring religious warfare to Scotland - what a bunch of amateurs, they haven't even got a football team"!

The basic fact that the word is USED as a term of bigotry in Scotland makes it so. This has absolutely nothing to do with the etymology of the original word or meaning, but its current every day use. I doubt very many people in Scotland know the etymology of the word, but they still use it as a word of abuse.

Only in the eyes of Celtic fans, who have forced the issue through with the Politico.
It IS used to describe a Celtic fan, or those people who claim to be Irish but are in fact Scottish/English plastic paddy's.
The have also managed to squeeze through the Famine song as bigotry. The song is a tongue in cheek request for all the said plastics to go home if they are so reviled by Britain.

Again certain elements of the media and indeed the Parlaiment in Scotland has ensured that a JOKE is taken seriously and will be dealt with by beheading....

Pathetic blinkered politics that bows to the minority because they feel a little put out. Thank fook they are not Muslim, as people in England might see through it.

We are marching through Glasgow this Friday, I am sure it will be most interesting to say the least. Currently we don't have permission to march with rifles, but that privilege is being sought!

I don't know why the OB insist on not taking firm action with these cretins. I recently policed a similar event and the concensus between the team was that anyone who tried to behave as these lot and the luton lot did would bet locked up "to prevent a breach of the peace" and we even had a superintendent on side too!
